To further improve our Professional Edge Banding Service, we recently invested in a Homag S300 KDF1440. Its automatic glue flushing system, and the addition of a second, quick change, gluing unit, allows us to rapidly change glue colours to match the edging to give a near invisible, high quality glue line. This machine also features three automatic spray stations. The first applies a separating agent to help prevent glue adhering to the face of the board, the second, a lubricant to protect the face of gloss boards and the third, a cleaning agent to prevent a "shine line" when polished. Each feature of our new machine, along with skilled operators, and a robust quality control procedure, ensures each and every panel leaves our workshop with a perfectly edged finish.
